Notes by the taper
This is my first attempt at recording, which was inspired by AForestFan at TCC (who was awesome at answeering all my questions). Thanks as well to nausearockpig who agreed to master it and clean things up as required. We were just in front of the soundboard to the left. This was my seventh time seeing them and did not disappoint with a good Disintegration-themed set. The crowd was probably a bit more into the pop songs that they could sing along to. I like the noisy ones you can headbang to and best song for me was One Hundred Years for the power and the visuals. Runners up were It Can Never Be The Same and Disintegration but all of it was great. was great to see the band with Reeves in action as well - he is a great player. Simon was pretty fun to watch too and did laps of the stage to keep us all amused. Total playing time was a hair over three hours not including the encore breaks.

NRP notes:
* The feedback outro of From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea merges into the sampled intro of Want. It sounds rad!
There are a few fade outs & ins & small edits to remove any unimportant crowd noise, other than that I didn't do much to what is a very good capture. Biggest thanks to Psychophysio for taping and passing to me to edit. Great stuff bloke!

There are some fade-in/fade-out's at some songs. I've readt that in the original TV-Broadcast were commercial, so i think that someone cutted them out.

If you wanna burn the FLAC's i would recommend:
CD 1: Track 01-12 (63:15)
CD 2: Track 13-20 (40:04)

Then you can use the fade-in/fade out's for changing disc.

COMMENTS:
Excellent DAC release! Well....this classic bootleg was excellent to begin with, so it's no surprise. I find the quality to be better than for instance the TSP release of the same title. Almost like if it's from a lower generation tape. This is a must have

Although I didn’t record this, I was at this gig on the second row, right in front of The Ox’s backline, so as you can imagine he was very dominant throughout the evening. I thought they were on fire that night. There was another version of this doing the rounds, but this one is much better quality in my opinion. Enjoy!

notes
Here we go again with another crystal clear reel-to-reel taken off the radio! This was one of Culture Club's first gigs in the USA. They perform most of their hit songs. This concert was to be part of the 80's live flood, but the other groups ended up being already out commercially. This one is not. Have you seen Boy George without the long hair?

Notes:
This one has been broadcast a few times already and I can't believe that I have only just got to see it. It's a superb performance, beautiful broadcast and easily worth an hour and a quarter of anyone's time. Sure, Grace still seems to be a little it scary but certainly more mellow than some occasions in the past, just ask Russell Harty Looking beyond that scary image we see a talented and glamourous star with a real rear apparently. I feel that Lady Ga-Ga ought to watch this one and possibly reconsider her career path

Notes:
This is a great show with an orchestra and choir, that was broadcast on Bravo in 2004. I have transferred this from my first generation tape made at the time of broadcast, and created menus. This show has been on DIME before (although not my version), but it has been several years since it was last available here. An interesting contrast to the 1972 Royal Philharmonic Orchestra show I recently uploaded. Both are excellent, just 32 years apart.
